With these two tracks, Sigarasi Yaldizli / Mastika, the band pays homage to Anatolian psychedelic golden age with adding some modern influences. You can download the two singles now, follow the link bellow ! Cansu Ak, Tolga Horasanli and Mehmet Koray Erol came together in 2019 to produce their own music with creating the band Oldu O Zaman. After a first digital release with Avrupa Müzik, the trio decided to go deeper in their cultural heritage with covering and arranging Turkish traditional well-known folk songs with psychedelic and electronic elements to create a unique sound with their own touch. The 7'' gathers Sigarasi Yaldizli a famous tavern song and a well known Turkish gipsy song Mastika hacked with some electronic tocuhes. Be careful, this material is pure banger !

Les Disques Bongo Joe sont ravis d’annoncer la première sortie physique du trio stambouliote Oldu O Zaman ! Avec ces deux titres, Sigarasi Yaldizli / Mastika, le groupe rend hommage à l’âge d’or du psychédélisme anatolien en y insufflant des influences modernes.

Cansu Ak, Tolga Horasanli et Mehmet Koray Erol se sont réunis en 2019 pour créer leur propre musique et former le groupe Oldu O Zaman. Après une première sortie numérique chez Avrupa Müzik, le trio a décidé d’explorer plus en profondeur son héritage culturel en reprenant et en arrangeant des chansons folkloriques traditionnelles turques, mêlant des éléments psychédéliques et électroniques pour créer un son unique et personnel.

Le 45 tours réunit Sigarasi Yaldizli, une célèbre chanson de taverne, et Mastika, une chanson tzigane turque bien connue, revisitées avec des touches électroniques. Attention, c’est du lourd !
