Description
Solid Jackson, publié par le légendaire label Criss Cross sous le nom de M.T.B., réunit à nouveau en studio, trente ans plus tard, quatre des cinq musiciens qui ont enregistré l’album Consenting Adults de Criss Cross en 1994.
Ces musiciens ne sont autres que le pianiste BRAD MEHLDAU, le saxophoniste ténor MARK TURNER, le guitariste PETER BERNSTEIN et le bassiste LARRY GRENADIER, auxquels s’ajoute le batteur BILL STEWART pour compléter le quintette.
Enregistré au Samurai Hotel Recording Studio, à New York, les 25 et 26 novembre 2023, il s’agit de la première édition LP de ce merveilleux album.
